 was born in
Stockton, California in 1964. Art has been a part of my life for as
long as I can remember. Growing up, my parents always had art
on the walls. And still today every one of my immediate family
member understands the value and pleasure of art. Walk into
any of their homes and you will see it hanging there, talking to the
looker, inviting them to think and feel the emotions within.
My motivation to paint and draw
comes from the incredible beauty of life...of humans...of nature. My
work depicts the events of my life and the world around me. It
includes subjects of love, despair, good, evil, and often "sheer
feminine beauty."
I describe myself as an educator,
artist, songwriter and musician. Three months vacation every year
from teaching allows me to paint, song write and travel. I
can finish a
painting in 30 minutes, or take up to a week or more. That's
what I love about art... there are no rules....no right or wrong...just
the opportunity to be free and create something never before seen.
I presently have work
showing at Todo Un Poco Restaurant, located in Laguna West (Elk
Grove/South Sacramento).
